Default 88-91 engine in 92-95 wiring question.

where i baught my last engine from "nippon-motors.com" only has a 88-91 sohc zc in stock, my question is if i break it down to a long block and use the 94 assesories will the sensors in the back of the engine hook right up to the 94's harness? its a d15b7 wit a blown head gasket, got it cheap. also if i buy a new clutch kit an flywheel, should i buy for a 88-91 or 92-95 i searched and they seem the same, just need that assumtion hmt approved. i know ill have to enlong one bolt hole for the power steering, but is there anthing else i should look for, i work six days a week and will not do this myself this time, before it was a 88-91 in a 91, thanks for the ecu "1991civicsi". just thaught id ask real quick before i ran off to work, the *** at the performance shop couldnt answer me, "my boss isnt in right now" didnt know they had guy reseoptionists "cant spell".

Your harness should work without changing the intake manifold and stuff like that. the only swap you will have to do is your dizzy. As for the clutch, get the clutch/flywheel that goes with the year of the trans and model of the old engine. but since its a 94 you just get an 92-00 clutch kit and 92-00 flywheel.

oh yes! you can do one of two things, lengthen that wire or run the thermo housing off your old motor.

yea imma use the 94 tranny with the 88-91 engine, if the splines are the same i assume i can use either year group. i guess ill get the ebay combo - exedy_fidanza. i was reallly curious about the sensors on the back of the 88-91 block, if the connectors are the same. never had a [eg] before but have had a few d-series in my [ef] hatch. was told that the only mod from nippon-motors was extending the power steering bolt hole, but i assume there are a few differances between the two. thanks for the input so far guys, imma do some more searching and ill call redline in the morning before work to speak to phong. got to love the asains,,,,,,,they'll hook it up, just dont want my *** reamed for labor when in reality it would only take me a couple days at my old shop to do myself, but i left on bad terms, fuckn born again christians cant take a fuckn joke....as for **** i cant seem to figure it out so here are a couple sites to get some trailers and pics from - realitykings.com - bangbros.com...much love hmt folk...........stop bitching an boost it..........im rich bitch.......
