Default 88-91 crx

im goin to buy a 88-91 crx and stripe it down to nothin but the seats im even making a new dash out of sheet metal and adding a roll cage but what is the best engine for it and what will be better high comp. or turbo

obviously high comp and turbo.

4 in a row won't go
6 in a row won't go

4 in a row with turbo will go though...

all engine 4 cyclinders are slow and very very expensive. not even worth it unless you're competing in a class that has to be all motor.

although those poniac 442s are fast... faster than any stupid *** integra gsr or type r

im doin all street raceing but i dont know what kind of motor to get im thinkin of a h22a but i heard that it has to much power and i will just wind up smokein um

if you're concerned over traction do the turbo route. since you will have to wait for the turbo to spool, so i guess it'll let you get some'ore traction off the line...

i bet any honda turbo setup will have more bottum end power than a n/a h22 but thats my opinion

i just want to fit as much power as i can into a crx for street raceing cause im raceing for money and i dont want a b16 cause every 1 around here has them

H22 then... be different, or if you dont have the knowledge and skills to install it. Go with a B20 crvtec.

i bet it would have more bottom end too, but thats under boost. if you do an easy off the line you should be able to get traction before the turbo spools and starts making power... i guess
