75mm headgasket OEM w/ a 75.25mm bore ... safe?

Default 75mm headgasket OEM w/ a 75.25mm bore ... safe?

Okay my y8 is .10 over....so would it be okay to use the stock y8 head gasekt which is going to be for a 75.25 bore?

you mean .010 over right?

You don't want the gasket hanging into the cylinder IMO, the metal will heat up a lot and could cause detonation. But I'm not the bored out Gawd, so I'm not certain

i dont think gaskets are exact 75mm for this reason.. aren't they all a little larger?

usually they are just a touch over.. Well they are for b-series anyways. put the gasket on the deck of the block and just run your fingers down the edge of the cylinder wall and see how bad it is.
