alright, I did a little bit of searching and the fan needs to be trimed and the upper mounts don't work, do the lower mounts fit fine? wouldn't the driver side mount not even get close to the radiator?

well this idea will have to wait for later becaues my dad got sick of me doing nothing about getting my car going so he got me a radiator, now I just need to fix my temp gauge. I broke the plastic covers that hold the temp sensor wires onto the prongs so I'm going to crimp some yellow crimp connectors on there and hope that works. then I'm going to run a wire from the sensor to the gauge cluster (first one on the left, yellow/green).

I bought a 5th gen single core radiator for $20, and tossed it in my EF hatch. I used one lower mount, and made my own bracket up top, ghettoly attached the stock fan, trimmed the hood, and it's all good.

P.S. Not enough cooling for really hard track use, especially drifting, but I still dig it. I never overheated, but the temps definately go up.
