hey i have a b16 jdm that i put together it came along good but i tried to start it it does not turn over ? i dont no y the starter is good i checked it every thing else is goodand torqued down but i dont no what the hell it might be any thing might help any ideas im trying to get it to turn over to build up the oil pressuer ? before i lite it up but it wont even do that well thanks!

is the fuel pump running? are the injectors good? do you have spark? is it even trying to crank? see battery comment above? More info

 

12volts at the starter?
starter signal wire plugged in?

 

i have spark and every thing ?when i turn the key it clicks trrrrrr trrrrr trrrrr trrrrrr and does not turn over

when i did my swap i didnt put the vacume lines wear they were suppost to go. maybe thats whats wrong. but it did turn over-just didnt start

 

if u r getting spark prolly sumthing with your fuel system I.E pump, injectors ect ect. or maybe sumthing with wiring

 

bad starter?

 

most likely a bad starter. ive gone through like 8 starters on my rex and when they go out i either hear a "click" noise, or a "whuuuuurrrrrrr" noise. also see comments about battery, and check your distributor while you are at it.
