ok went to the track for the last time of the year ran okkk but f'ed up my tranny. what do you guys usually notice goes bad when your third gear pops out under acceartion and then decelaration (can't spell) s80 hydro gsr tranny. gears worn out syncro's or what. I am going to have it rebuild this winter and was trying to get a parts list going thanks.

motor mounts first...........

 

well def not the motor mounts got them all filled with prothan kits barely any motor rock at all. as far as a throw out bearing I don't belive that either only has like 10k on it and shift smothly still thru all the gears. I was wondering if i ground off part of third gear it's self. when I go to shift there really doesn't seem to me that there is much gear there like the others. I can just basicly touch it and it will pop out again or even when slow shifting. does anybody know if I get a cable tranny say a s1 if I can just swap all the drive line into the hydro casing. My brother inlaw had a s1 and that thing was freakin tuff ground it often and constat abuse like 7 or 8k clutch dumps. or do I have to go out and get all new honda stuff. if that was the case i was thinkin ctr 1,2,3 with gsr final drive. what's your opion?
