Usually the tip of a caulk tube indicates the color. Tricky 3M bastards.

I used this stuff from home depot in a black and yellow tube. It's roofing caulk and it's called polysumthin. It smells completely like chocolate. It's crazy, but I ate before I did the motor mounts so I was cool.
this the stuff you were talking about? found it at the HMD (home depot) and it is only $2.88 a tube . there is white, black, bronse and clear.

Easier to work with, but does it work the same? I just finished, and I mean just finished like 2 hours ago, filling up mine with the 3m stuff, I went thru a full tube $12.88 at advanced auto, on my car, and will be doing a friends car next. I rather pay the $3.00 for the next one if it is the same quality stuff.

don't know never used the 3M on a car since the tranny mount i used it on is still out of the car. and haven't put the tourque mounts in yet. still waiting on them to dry.
heres another question, how do i get the driver side mount back in? it was a bitch to get out.
