I have a helms manual for any civic/crx from 84-91. what specifically are u looking for. I can look it up and tell u what it says.

I have a Haynes manual and it susposed to cover this car, it covers this year, but i doesn't have much info on the DPFI, I'm not looking for anything specfic, I just looking for a good manual with some useful info.

UPDATE: I've changed the PVC valve, it helped some, now it doesn't smoke till 5k rpm

after rereading what you said, if its not happening under load before 5k, then there has to be an electrical problem somewhere.

Do you know anyone with a different engine control unit? Maybe you could try swapping those out and see if the ECu has been damaged at all. There may also be a problem with your air flow sensor, or oxygen sensor in the exhaust.

Check the resistance from each sensor and see if they match what the book says they should.
