Default 1st gen crx turbo?

I have a 1st gen crx si & was wondering if anybody has tried to turbo the d15a3 or if it's possible. If so what manifold could I use & what rods/pistons would work.

yes it is poss. to turbo about anything even ur motor (which is prob the d16a6 if its the stock motor). look at the turbo projects on the main page and read the fi section ur will learn so much. as far as rods and pistons stock will work up to so much psi and for a manifold a cheap way to go would be the std/hf manifold.one thing to consider is the milage & condition of the motor befor boosting, oh 1 more thing READ READ READ!!!!

I was reading on redpepperracing.com, & I think the manifold off of the 1st gen wagons are similar to the 2nd gen hfs but not for sure. I still haven't found rods or pistons yet, & factory c/r on this motor is 8.7:1 so its just begging for turbo. Any more help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
