1st gen CRX SI swap
okay so i bought this si for 600 bucks, it was pretty cheap. I kinda like the first gen, lighter, more unique........however much harder to work on. I am thinking of doing a turbo swap on the car. b16a, b18a, maybe even d15b7. so i am trying to make a minimum of 250 HP ...on a strapped budget (im 17..go to school.. AND WORK AT ARBYS...lol, yah so im thinking i may have to just do the d15 (cheapest/simplest swap) but i was wondering if i could make that much HP off the swap, or should i just go with a b16 or b18 when i get money? i live in everett washington if thats of any use

Do the D16A1 swap from the first gen Integra as it is a easy swap and those motors can be had for cheap.Boost it and and you should have pretty quick ride considering that thing weighs like 17-1800 pounds. And if anyone locally thats kinda weird want's you to go see there horse run like a ****** ******.

I would go with a d16a1. There are a ton around here for cheap. I'm in lynnwood, WA (right next to everett) there are a couple junkyards and local people that have them laying around. I know of one person doing that same swap for his crx just up the street from me. There is a ton of info on the swap:

Plus if your looking to boost it doesn't take much to get that engine up to snuff. I am putting together a turbo proj for that engine...
