114.3x4 hub/axle question
Just curious on the 114.3 hubs, what US axles work with the DC2/EG chassis?
I don't have axles laying around the test/check it out with, and I have searched and came up with nothing. |
Re: 114.3x4 hub/axle question
I'm pretty sure it's the same spline and yada yada as the USDM stuff. I've heard of people even doing a 96 ITR 4 bolt swap on d-series setups.

GSR axles are only $100 a peice from advance... this guy is saying dam near anything will work http://www.honda-tech.com/zerothread/2000754 |
Re: 114.3x4 hub/axle question
96-97 4 lug Rs are gonna use standard 32mm axles...
so for USDM cars you need axles from any 94-01 Integra or 99-00 Civic Si or 94-97 del Sol, but i would ask for Integra parts, cuz they WILL ---- it up if you ask for Civic/del Sol ----... but you will need a new hub from Honda in Japan of course for the 96-97 R.... |
Re: 114.3x4 hub/axle question

Re: 114.3x4 hub/axle question
I paid like 60 per axle from Autozone when I was doing my b-series swap. That 100 per axle from Advance sounds kinda pricey.

Re: 114.3x4 hub/axle question
I said what these are for. ::)
============================================ anyways, on the cost, (copy/pasted right from advance website) $69.88 $35.00 core which was pretty much exactly what I was going to pay. Here, I was quoted $169 for each axle, no core. No core option to pay cheaper. That was the 'auto-zone' equilivant. :X Shitty news though, I got nailed for recruiting again, so i'm probably not gonna be fixing the integra. I would be leaving here in October, and to spend roughly $600 + parts to do the inspection to only drive the car for a few months just isnt justifiable to me. Probably gonna be tearing the R apart here within the next few weeks. :'( |
