00 SI boosted check engine code 3 help
just put in a turbonetics hybrid t3/4 on my 00 si, runs great untill the check enine light comes on and goes into protect mode. i looked up the code it says map sensor. so i bought a missing link to fix the problem, it did not fix it, the code comes on again, mostly after the engine get up to norm temp. . if i drive even in boost its ok untill it gets hot. if i drive at normal it comes on with no boost, mostly when i let off the gas. Is the odb1 code and the obd2 code the same? i do not think so. i have the obd2. please tell me what other problems would cause this. after this i will be golden. i have the VAFC2 with stock injectors. thanks for all and any help. MY email is MILESBIZZELL@YAHOO.COM

i had 550 cc injectors but it ran like ----, way to rich, cars died at stop lights, took them out to see if i could see if the injectors where the problem. should i put them back in?. And please if you do not have anything positive to say then please don't say anything at all.
Man, youre stock 240cc injectors CANNOT keep up with the fuel demands that a turbocharged motor needs, Im gonna definetely say if your boosting on stock setting that youre running disgustingly lean.
You know that when you put in the 550's you actually have to adjust the fuel settings on the VAFC right...
Its doesnt just light up and program itself...
Maybe Im missing something and your making it sound horrible

Put the 550's back in and read how to set the VAFC up
