That was a bit confusing reading that, but.. I think I got the just of it..
you can put a 88-91 2g ZC blacktop DOHC into a 88-91 Civic/CRX, it bolts right in, and you can use your entire engine harness (you will need to repin the distributor, but its not a big deal, and takes 10 mins). You can use your stock hf/si/dx/std tranny with the ZC engine. You will need to use your old clutch setup and attach it to the ZC engine if you want it to work.
ECU, Obviously if you swap this in a 88-91 HF or DX you will have to upgrade the ECU. The 88-91 SI you can use the stock computer but you wont get the best performance out of your ZC. I would recommmend getting the PM7 ZC ecu, or the PG7 88-91 5speed integra ecu.
Not sure if you have a DX, but you will need to do a dpfi-mpfi wiring swap in order to run the ZC.
