ZC Unleashed at the Track!! With VIDEOSS!!!!

WEll The track opens Tonight(in an hour!!!), So I'm bringing the NA ZC civic for a some baseline runs. I put in new tranny fluid(Gm syncromesh) Reset my timing, new plugs(cheapo coppers) in preperatin for ass kicking.

I also did a compression test, I got 160 165 165 165, is this good? I actually feel ghetto, I can't believe my compression is this low, Should I still boost it?

I have a zc with Si trans, headers, full 2.5 exhaust, High flow Cat, Intake, Stripped interieur, Hard mounts, and normal shitty tires. Altitude is alittle high here(really cold out), What do you think I should Run?

I'll have pictures and videos Of canadian Styles Drag Racing when I Return, So be prepared!!!

Re:ZC Unleashed at the Track!!

that compression is fine, as long as they're not within, plus or minus 15 or 20 of eachother, they should be straight, however, your car is ------- gay and ghetto, so your compression is the least of your worries.

Yeah, GM synchromesh is definitely not good for our trannies, it has kerosene in it. I heard it isn't even that good for GM trannies.

Kerosene ??? I don't know where you heard that but all GM syncromesh is is 5w30 motor oil, I was told this by a transmission rebuilder, that is all they use for their transmissions, well the smaller ones anyways. There are alot of people that use the syncromesh not knowing the difference, but most people that I know using it in a honda says it works better. You gotta like the look on their face when you tell them they spent $30 for something that is only worth $9 :P

Haha yes the paying 30$ for a 5$ item is funny ----. Kerosene.. bad? That stuff just cleans the tranny.. its not cathcing on fire in there... Geez

Re:ZC Unleashed at the Track!!

It's not 5W-30, read the ingredients, Kerosene is like number 3 on the list. What is the point of running that stuff through anyway. A manual transmission rarely gets gunked up enough to require Kerosene. When there is crap in a transmission it settles to the bottom and doesn't contact the gears anyway.
