I forgot to tighten the bowl drain plug on a VW bug. It backed out and fuel spilled on the motor and "BOOM"! My dad ran out of the house and grabbed a fire extinguisher. I had a date with me, and dad was in his underwear. It was embrassing to say the least. Not the car so much catching on fire, but pops in his drawers.

Turbo died, didnt know why.
Sent it off to get rebuilt. They called and said it was oil starvation.
Tested oil pump, worked fine.
got turbo back in the car, died of oil starvation in after 2 mile drive. Damnit!

Well, I have $40 to my name, I've been sick all this week and my last thoughts have been of school... my gf and I were to go to Prom, tickets are $35 each, and tomorrow is the last day. So yeah. I take the cake.

hmm the most recent fucked up experience i had probably has to be when i was draining a little bit of oil, like a half a court or so and i had a small small bucket because i INTENDED to drain so little. I just got back from school (car still hot)
jacked it up set the bucket next to me and slowly losended it and BAM a ------- powerfull stream of hot oil buring my hand, naturally i droped the plug in the pan sucked it up and burned my hand more reaching in to find the plug, STILL cant find it and the ------- bucket it filling up ever so quickly, starts overflowing all over the place and on my body. I finally find the plug, screw it back on to a nearly empty pan
i was so damn pissed and in a rush to clean up the oil i hit my head on the damn bumper/crossmenber area on the way out!! by far one of the worst days ive had....

damn! Been there with the oil plug... I can't ever wait until it cools to stick my hand in it though... it's like "it might not be there later, gotta get it now"
----.. I had a drive shaft wired up in my El Camino while I was doing U-Joints. It dropped about 6 inches onto my forehead. Everyone was messing with me at work saying that my wife beat me.

Damn, I would have thought your biggest fuckup would be when you moved to the cemetary.

Just this week I went through $60 of headgaskets just to find out my Head is warped...This leads to fuckup over the last few months/weeks, Headgasket was blown since fall, car started eating coolant in december, I kept adding water instead of anti freeze, thinking I still have enough anti freeze to do the trick, well thats why my head got warped i guess. but its funny, It got warped after I changed the bad head gasket, then I went through 2 more.
