yeah the low tide makes sense, but the haul of that boat probably couldn't support the entire weight. it would fracture.

nah the haul of the boat is one of the stongest parts of the boat. and it looks like its a metal haul and that is ment to be really stong to prevent sinking as well as it being a double haul. it could very well support it, hell the titanic dident fully break till it was under the water quite a bit and that is a hell of alot more stress than sitting on a rock.

i guess that is a metal haul.. I was wondering.

still nothing is going to withstand the entire weight of the vessel placed on a small cubic area of jagged rock, but looking at the photo more.. it looks like a pretty even area where the boat is resting on. I'm suprised the bitch didn't capsize - if it is a real photo.

yeah the rock looks prety long behind it and who knows what it looks like from the other sides. but i belive its real i have seen some fuckedup ---- like that in the past.
