just though i'd share it seeing nothing much really comes outa the valley but a guy i know in grandview has my buddys old dx crx 88 and it now has a gsr swap i/h/e with hydro tranny, ran a 14.2 on street tires and a 13.4 on slicks i though that was very impressive times being only a stock gsr motor 60' was a 1.8 on the slicks. just goes to show its all about traction.

 

yeah, good times are all about a good suspension set up with traction. there's a guy here that runs 12.9's on a completely stock h22 in eh hatch with slicks.

 

ya there were a few people running slicks on stock stuff with hella good times, a ek hatch with a h22 stock 14.0 a turbo ef hatch ls motor only ran a 14.1 on street tires. but it was fun good times at the begining of the year.

 

your in yakima right? i think the EF hatch with the turbo LS was my old car... i think he still had like 103 mph trap speeds...

Those numbers are not bad on slicks at all. What where his 60ft's with the street tires

i ran a 13.9 in a 92 civic hatchback with a bone stock gsr motor on STREET tires 2.0 60ft.
and a 13.700 with a bone stock ls vtec in a different 92 hatch 2.1 60ft. all on strett tires
