Actually I have fixed everything wrong with it, except for a leaky exhaust, one of the 3 studs broke where the manifold and downpipe meet, Some relay is not letting the AC compressor turn on, when I put it straight to the battery it turns on an it's cold, then there's that little bit of white smoke coming out of the exhaust, which is the biggie.
Well it still runs fine, but I wonder. No water in the oil, but it is still smoking white. I think I'm burning oil, possible bad ringlands. So I need new pistons more than likely. The last owner of the engine ran an SSAC turbo kit with no management @5psi, I found out after I had purchased it. But it runs, Comp is down on cylinder 2 by 15 points, So there's a problem. But it runs fine for a daily, not a track car yet.

That's cool, well Jeff never got back to me at his brother's JDM Sti tranny. So I got a Forester 2.5 tranny. It's the turbo 2.5 liter version of the engine, but not the Sti 2.5 version.
Still it is good for 400whp. I'm at 300, it's good enough for me.
The US Sti 6 speed would have required a new tranny ($2200), new clutch and flywheel ($1000), new shifter ($150), new rear differential ($500). Way too much. I rather spend that much on the b16a.
