I don't know why I waste my time, it's like crack or something. I know replying to him in threads or talking to him on the phone won't go anywhere because you can't hold a normal conversation with people like that. I think he will be calling later tonight. He is on the east coast. I don't expect the conversation to last very long because I have known people like illicon and it's like talking to a brick wall. If he believes 2 + 2 = 5... there is no way I can convince him 2 + 2 = 4... there is really no point in arguing with him.

the gt3071r's dont make ---- for power along withthe 2871r's... we have tried to make good power with both and they ---- out so fast its not funny.

all the sr20 people think they are the best turbo's ever made because they spool so fast. If you have ever seen one, they only have like a 1 inch turbine wheel, its so so so so small it can't flow up top.

They have HUGE compressors and SMALL exhausts (yes even the gt3071r)

I honestly dont think you would be able to put 400 whp down on your d with either of those turbo's. atleast not efficiently.

auto cars are the best for racing. do you honestly think you harness the intelectual power to know when to shift. do you think your smarter than the r&d scientist at honda? i dont beleive so. the factory shift points set up for the automatic transmission are perfect.

I don't understand what's going on here. Can uberdata handle high boost levels or not? If no, why not? (Humor me, I'm a Toyota guy)

Also, how much can homemade boost controllers possibly cost? If you've got 2, then all you need is a VSV/Solenoid from the wreckers, some vacuum hose, a couple check valves, a switch and some wires to make a dual stage boost controller. ----, you could probably get away with it without the check valves.

That's a pretty bold statement. What kinda of cars/setups have you tried with these turbos? How much boost were you running? I read on boosted-hybrid's website a lot and he has been able to put down pretty damn good numbers with the gt28rs and gt2871r, so I only imagine the gt3071r would put down even bigger numbers since it's efficient up to 30psi. From what I have read on BH's site I don't see any reason the it wouldn't put down 400whp on a d-series motor. I think this turbo work work very well on a street/strip small displacement motor looking to make big numbers when at the track, but still be able to spool decently on the street.
