WTF is wrong with craigslist?
Is there nothing but a bunch of faggot ass scammers on there? WTF is wrong with these people? I've learned not to put my phone number on there because these fucks will call you 10,000x a day asking the same stupid ------- questions and you can hardly understand them. I take my number down and now these stupid fuckers want me to call them. I keep telling these ------- retards to read the listing because it answers ALL of their questions and they keep sending the same fucked up email. I'm a craigslist noob so I don't know the scams that go around, but should I be preparred to put a bullet in one of these retards if I end up meeting them in person? I don't trust them at all and I'm getting 2 different emails, with the same last name, but different first names asking the same questions over and over and over. Is there a common scam that I don't know about? I thought it was just buyers who get scammed, not sellers? ???

I always wanted one of those checks to give to someone I absolutely hated. Like leave it by their cars on the ground or some ---- and then blammo! >:D I never stick my number on any ads I list up and even for most of the ads I put up. I don't get barely any spam or scammers.

I had a car listed on there and got a ton of scammers trying to "buy" the car. I actually told a guy to send me the Money orders and he sent me like $3k in fake Western Union money orders. The car was listed at $1k. They were obvious fakes. I would have been laughed at if I tried to use them.

now there are a ton of scams with cars that are way too cheap, or cars that are priced right but the contact info is messed up. Plus, people make posts with weird poems at the bottom and ----, im not even sure what the scam is anymore lol

Craigslist isn't somewhere you try to sell anything. It's for buying things cheap, and giving ---- away. Put 3 day old dog ---- in the free section, and someone will come pick it up. One time I put 50 gallons of misc. house paint in the free section, none of it full gallons of any color, and I had to take the add down 10 minutes later because someone came to pick it up.
I've bought some motorcycles and other ---- off there, but one thing is for sure, I don't have anyone pick anything up or go to pick anything up without my heater. There's plenty of cases of people picking things up and robbing the seller, etc... One time I was giving away a bunch of kids toys and this beefy latina came to pick the ---- up. She was normal, but all of a sudden it was like she couldn't wait to leave. I think when I was helping her load toys into her car she saw the gat and got scared. haha. |

It's a give and take. You look at ebay where things go pretty well for the most part, except as a seller you get ass raped by fees, and the corporation feels they should make money based on how much you take in, or.... you have craigslist, the ultimate free market in action.
Try selling again, except make it blunt in the add that you don't like fuckfaces. Maybe that will work. |

I had a pretty good experience because I didn't post my number. I got a handful of e-mails that were garbage but they were obvious, so I could just ignore them

i get calls from people that seem like they cant read ----. they will ask me questions that i wrote down, they dont ask for more detail they just ask the same ------- question as i wrote it. ------- morons. that and i get a bunch of mexicans that cant speak english

i listed my motorcycle on there (Madison, WI) and within hours i had replies from ------- florida and texas and ---- asking if i would ship it to them. wtf is right.

ive used CL alot to buy and sell. if you want to put your number, make it hard for retards and africans to understand, like spell half of it and ---- like that. it filters out the idiots. but if your selling a cheap car thats not always good. also reply with ---- you to any email that start out funny like "I AM INREST IN YOUR BLANK, I HAVE FULL " . or just keep replying with "OK SOUNDS GOOD" it wastes there time. i like to do that too, or "ok, sounds good you stupid ape" . just keep doin that they give up

i bought my rx7 from craiglist lol. i still talk to the guy i bought it from because he owns a honda as well. only thing is i do local only and people who actually email me back. other than that i browse for a steal on some parts or even cars....oh btw, ---- scammers :7

I find that the majority of the people on craigslist must have down syndrome. Ebay, for how shitty it is, has some sort of weeding out process. I have emailed sellers of cars on there before in perfect grammer that was easy for anyone (who can speak english) to understand. I still get no response or some weird excuse as to why they can't send me a picture of the interior, engine, ect...

Ebay is pretty bad for sellers too imho. Scammers still sign up and use "buy it now" then do nothing. I sometimes think its ebay trying to get more fees from me since they only reimburse you for one re-list i think.

ive been told if you write "no scammers" in the listing they dont bother you. ive never tried it but i assume they realize you know thier scams so they dont bother trying it on you.
i usually have my friend sell stuff on craigslist for me because he doesnt care about a million people calling but every time he sells somehting for me its some shady ass from the ghetto. i always have him tell them to come to his work to pick the stuff up cause i dont want those people anywhere near my house or shop. |

this summer i brought like 8 civics between 100-300. i love craigslist. if you use it alot u will learn how to deal with scammers. i stoped posting my phone number and put i dont have a phone cuz i got tired of answering the same damn question over and over again.

is nice. gives you a temp phone number to use on craigs list that expires after a certain amount of time. That way you dont have to worry about dumb fucks calling you 6 months down the road. looks like its invite only now though :( Ive had really good luck on craigslist. Phoenix is full of tweakers so theres always tons of ---- on craigs list thats probably stolen and you can pick it up for practically free. Lots of good deals on tools and car parts. I wish there was a way to axe muder those scammers though. I think it keeps people from coming back cause they would rather not deal with all the bullshit. |

like motorcycles in the electronics car parts (especially rims because there is allot of nogs arround here) in the cars for sale section, i mean c'mon there is a car parts section and a section for complete cars you know? also there is always ------- spam like make your dick bigger pills in the car parts section that ---- pisses me off and when you offer a trade to someone that lists that they are interested in trades and they call you and say "no i am not interested in what you have to trade, but i have no problem with cash" i mean hey if i had the cash would i have offered the trade? |
