Re:WTF to do?
is it a completely custom dp or do you have one of those stock cast elbows on there? if so ------ cut that ----, get a flange and a mandrel bend and make yer own dp...
what turbo is it? Might want to look into getting a custom front cross member |
Re:WTF to do?
ya i've been looking at jim fab bars, prob be buying one soon, i can ------ rig the radiator in there though.

Re:WTF to do?
what body is this, motor and turbo and manifold style?
|
Re:WTF to do?
89 crx si, d16z6 t3t4 turbo, supported by the ever so famous ssautofuckers. its like that pile of trash manifold hold the turbo out too far.

Re:WTF to do?
lol
well what about the downpipe? is it a custom downpipe... you should beable to squeeze it by the cross member... |
Re:WTF to do?
o no i can get it by the cross member bro, its the radiator is being a -----. i've already made brackets and lowered it,it worked great til i put the turbo up there and the exhaust flange is shuved into the side of the radiator.

Re:WTF to do?
post a pic because that doesnt make too much sense that the dp is hitting the rad really...you arent using that shitty one that ssauto gives you right?
|
Re:WTF to do?
i had almost the same problem with my last kit. i had to cut alot off the crossmember by the passenger headlight to squeeze it in there and drill out the rad bottom supports and reweld them about an inch and a half over. it sucked but it turned out pretty good.
just cut that bitch up until it fits ;) |
Re:WTF to do?
ya jeff same here i cut the ---- out the cross member so now im buying a jim fab, but until then the civic rad it too big, the turbo sits too far out it is right in the radiator, sry i dont have pics.
