Re: WTF??
I find it funny how Fosters is touted here as being austrailian but of course so im told no one there drinks the ----.
So we got guiennus, newcastle so on here, just how different are they from what you guys have over there? Is Newcastle popular? |
Re: WTF??
Well, I was born in Newcastle (small suburb south of the River called Gateshead), and yeah, it's drunk by everyone there.
I can't think why, it's full of chemicals and tastes like piss. I think it's drunk more on a regional pride basis than any alcohollic properties. It's almost as bad as Stella Artois. I prefer Guinness (which tastes nothing like it does in Ireland) or if I have to drink Lager, Fosters or Grolsch is usually the weapon of choice. Give me a nice Cider though any day. Much more potent. Oh, and how can anyone drink Coors? Reminds me of the old joke "American beer is like having sex in a canoe - it's ------- close to water!" |
