Re: work injurys?
too many to list but here are the ones that hurt
1-Drove drill bit through the webing between my thumb and index finger.
2-stepped on a borad that had a 16 penny nail that was coverd with a piece of cardboard
3-was drilling through to top plate of a wall and the drill cought a nail, spun around and knocked me in the jaw wich coused me to fly off of the 4th step of a six foot ladder
4-cought my thumb in a reciprocating saw/sawzall(where the blade meets the saw)
5-was driving stakes in the ground with a 5 pound slege and missed the stake
.....and thats why I worked my way up to foreman. No physical work= no more pain :P

Re: work injurys?
boxcutter, over 2 months ago.. dam bitchy manager was telling me to do SOMEONE ELSES work when i had 10 minutes left of my shift. cut the boxes to quick, went through my apron, my good pants, and unfourtunatly 2mm of skin/flesh
in comment to hotrex- it didn't hurt of bleed at first, but by the time i walked to the first aid kit (no one was around) 100ft away, my whole leg was covered in blood, and i used like 4 paper towels trying to at least clean up before applying 4 bandaids and some duct tape

I got a small piece of steel lodged in my eyeball and needed to go have it removed at the hospital. It ended up starting to rust in there they told me.
Then after that I dropped a landing gear leg to a trailer on my finger (they weigh a good 50 lbs) and it just exploded the fingertip. I should have been wearing gloves but wasn't. I looked at where my finger print "should" have been and it was folded over, blood going everywhere... I'm a little embarrased to say it, but it hurt so bad I passed out I hate smashing fingers.

Re: work injurys?
dont ask how i did it, but i had a car dropped on my dam foot. i was under the hood as my buddy lowered it, with my foot under the tire. (he didn't know my foot was under the tire) luckly, i was moving my toes (it was cold out) and just so happened my toes were currled up and missed them all.
lesson learned...
i bought some steal toes.
edit:
a long time ago, i had to have metal shavings scraped out of my eye. dam did that ---- suck.
lesson learned:
a $6 pair of napa safty glasses are the best thing ever invented. not the goofy dollar store looking ones, but the clear ones that wrap around your eyes. i like them.
