Try to find a temp tag.....if you get pulled over say good bye to the car...if you want i could mail you mine that i used to drive back from IL with. Even thought it expires tomorrow....it's better than nothing

They won't take your car if you get pulled over. 
I've been pulled over DOZENS of times with no registration and no insurance and have always driven away........and I'm white.

thats cool that you get to keep your car.....I sold one of my cars once and i really didnt want to see it go. Good for you, and good for your wife for offering to sell hers so you dont have to sell yours.

Well looks like I spoke to soon.My sister called me late last night and offerd to deposit $300 in my acount today for the car.I was hesitant at first but when I factured having to drive 1300 miles again(from Cali. to Texas),plus $250 for the trip(gas & food) I figured I would just take her up on that offer .
So it looks like Ill be on the prowl for a new project car.
