ok.... this ------- ------- comes to my work today in a mazda speed with his friend.. his friend said he's looking to buy a integra so i was like ok. i have my car for sale. so, he said he couldn't afford it. and for what it has he said his friends mazda speend would tare my ---- up. i walked away and said ok sure. then he's friends like "i smoke z28's all day long" ::). ------- kids i hate them so much. o and it was completely bone stock mazda. i was like man!! pull you talk a lot why don't you race me for 20 bucks. and of course he's like nah. he's car is acting up. go figure. if he only knew that my car beats vettes.

lol thats the way all the poeple in my town are too. They'll throw any sticker they can find on their cars and tell everyone their sponsored... And of course everyone who owns a stock Mustang, camaro, or Chevy extreme around here thinks he/she can smoke anyone else.

YO, I'll beat anyone in my Nismo sponsored Geo Storm Type R STi Spec W (for Whack!). With a full neoned interior and Jensen system from Wal-Mart. I'm sponsored by Wal-Mart and Pep-Boys. I've actualy use that excuse before....but I actualy have "nawwwzz" lol. (the bottle was empty) But I told the guy I'd be at the track on wednesday and he didn't show :P Damn turbo eclipses are -----s :) hehe

If you think that's bad, try owning a speed parts company, I must get ten requests a week from people wanting me to "sponsor" there cars and give them free parts, you should hear some of the lies they tell about how great there cars are and how many sales I will get from there friends. I could see the point in sponsoring a fast car thats going to get a lot of attention at the track or a very nice show car that goes to dozens of shows a year, I may get some exposure and sell a few parts, but to give some Yo boy ricer free parts so he can drive around his home town with my company logo on his car is pointless, what do I look like a charity.

I must bring up again the time the kid came into Schuck's after mommy bought him a rex and wanted a cold air intake, a body kit, clear corners from APC, and VTEC. When somebody asks you if you can order in VTEC, what do you say? I just said "what do you mean???" and he's like "you know, like, valve timing or something?" so I schooled him and made him feel like an ass. I wouldn't usually, but the body kit and wing he was after made it necessary.

When I did a couple of car shows back in 98-99 I was in the first row near the entrance and had a guy come up to me and asked me how it was that the "vtec" on the valve cover made more horsepower.He actually thought that the cover was the vtec couse thats what it says.He had a dx and I had him going that he could get vtec by getting a vtec valve cover.................hahaha ;Dyes i know Im an -------!

I thought you got V-TECH by putting the sticker on your car. Cause my Razor Skooter gots the VTEK, when I push really really hard, it clicks on and you can feel it. Sometimes I'm a rebel and go into V-TEC when I'm not wearing a helmet!!! Boy my mom would be real mad if she knowed that.


PS. I really hate it when someone mispells VTEC, its kinda like when someone says that they are getting headers for their 4 cylinder. I don't know about you guys but I only have one header. Unless Honda made a V4 that I don't know about.

I love these posts. I laugh my ass off at ---- like this. It happens all the time to everyone on the site, but no matter how many stories I read I laugh. Reminds me of home. Every kid here thinks they can run 9 second quarters because they threw on a grapefruit shooter to go with their cool ass vtec sticker in the back window. I was thinking about walkin around town and snappin some pics on the new digi. and starting a new thread. I was gonna call it " Tower, we are ready for takeoff " and devote the first one to ungodly sized wings. Coming soon in a post near you... The saddest thing is that I got rexes up the road that would be perfect. Sadly my girls bro is one of those: "my 4 door accord is quick as ---- cause it's got vtec." too bad it's stock and doesn't have vtec. jackass.

jeff crx can nip a z06 in the 1/4. and pretty much blow away a coupe. so thats what you have to do to beat a vette :)

Dude I use to be a Mazda tech but now on VW and I have driven the Mazda Speeds when we first got them. THEY ARE SLOW. What a waste. At only 6PSI , 185HP , and a bum F*** loud of stereo crap. PLEASE. Those things have a chance to be fast if you modify the crap out of them ( i.e. larger FMIC , Bigger exhaust , ditch the Bling Bling rims , up the Boost. ) then maybe it be a fast little mazda but stock. I saw one trying to spine out of the parking lot we were hanging out at one night and he barely broke the tire loose.. then I saw him come into my dealership complaining about problems with the car.... luckly I was the tech. working on it and said to him " Hey didn't I see you at Parkway doging the piss out of your car " It was a kodak moment.

actually no i don't run flat 12's i wish. i'm running really low 13's. a vette i believe is running low 13's as well. i'm not saying i'm a good driver but i do really have a nice launch and i drive pretty good. but i think if someone who know how to really drive it i'm sure he can beat me but not much. prob. anywhere from 0.2-0.5 seconds. i think a 2002 vette runs 13.12 and thats a pro driving it. so, hopefully that answers your question.

So the mazda speed protoge is slow stock so its a waste.. I guess no one should ever buy a talon then because they are very slow stock.

Warren whats your setup again? Do you have a time slip that shows the very low 13's..

full 3" exhaust
msd with retard control
75shot of NOS
t3 turbo kit
450 cc. injectors
safc
irridium .4 mm plugs
wires
225 fuel pump
boost controller, first, second, third i'm hitting 12 psi
once on fourth turned down to 8
regurlary i'm always racing 9psi. when it's not a vette or hooked up wrx.

I'd take it to the track before you start assuming what times you run.. I know for a fact that most people can't drive.. Just because a car is suppose to be able to run a 12.00 doesn't mean it will 90% of the time.. That time is normally the best the magazine could get.. Also 90% of people won't run a car like the magazine does to get that time.

older vettes before these new models are crap, I roast them at 5 psi. Though the last good race I"ve had was against one of those new supercharged mustangs, I was running 10 psi and he took me when I hit 3rd gear - piece of ---- d-series trannies.

actually i think your wrong with time specs. they don't take the best time out of all the runs. they take an average of overall. correct me if i'm wrong.

yeah no ----, I have found its better to drop the clutch at 1,000 RPM lately and nothing higher or the tires spin to much. I mean hell, I lost terribly to a firebird because he was an automatic and I dropped the clutch at 4k with 5 psi spooled and the fucker took off and I didn't get traction till halfway through second gear.
