Techonolgy of the B16 head is far ahead of the D15 and the block is so much stronger...it's not about 100cc when you compare a B to a D.
B16 160 crank hp...D15 105-109 crank hp...NA from the factory the B16 has e huge advantage....100cc can't give a 50hp increase...look at teh D16 it isn't much more powerfull the the MPFI D15..hp wise.
D16 and B16 have the same displacement, but still the B16 has more power, better performance basis and it's build to rev
