Who's on Xbox Live?

Re: Who's on Xbox Live?
You can do it with a PLC a 555 timer or hook the trigger pot to the player LED's on some controler versions.
You have to be careful in W@W. It looks at several things to check the fire rate. The hard cap is around 540rpm. It looks for controller inputs of sub 53-55ms and deems them bad - imposing the hellacious fire rate cap (about one every 3/4 of a second) as soon as you die/reload. Under 53ms an input (inputs are seperate as in button down / button up, or trigger pot = x%) and it'll lock you out in 2-5 bullets no matter how long you wait and what the overall average fire rate is.
If you did a 2 shot burst at say 30ms then waited 10 seconds before you fire another - the average fire rate would be nothing - but you'd still get locked out.
It looks at the interval between events/inputs. If they are all the same and exceed the fire rate cap - Locked.
Whoever programmed all the criteria it looks at is really, really good. There are so many parts to it noone knows.
If you use a modded controller, use it on the slower settings.
Ive written afew loops for it. You can get away with around 566rpm sometimes but you'll get locked. 545.45 really seems to be the sweet spot if you can't program it to use random numbers.

Re: Who's on Xbox Live?
The wired xbox controllers and the xbox sync about every 20-40ms. (Wireless is slower) So if your inputs change in the 20ms range much of the time they dont get detected. 30's is better, after 40 you're pretty much 100% solid. If you've ever watched one shoot really fast, you notice they spit & studder & don't fire evenly. They'll throw afew bullets out then skip some. That's because the xbox can't sync that fast.
So regardless of the game you really dont want to shoot any faster than 725-775rpm ish. Otherwise you risk not having an even fire rate = you get someone half dead then dont shoot while they still are.
W@W can be hard on full auto without recoil compensation too. Unlike say vegas 2. All weapons in W@W still have recoil. Mag, garand, etc all useless in full auto. other pistols, M1A1, gewehr/svt-40 are nice tho.
Especially the Gewehr and M1A1.
All you see in good HS&D games are rifle grenade auto gewehr's with slight of hand LoL!

Re: Who's on Xbox Live?
i made one, with the cheapo led, pwm method. i read any more than 8.33 per second is the cut. i thought my ---- broke, but next round it worked again, for 1 clip. i need to find a way to slow it down, but i don't think there is. i'll try a cheapo limiter/pot and see tonight. i guess halo3 has the same ---- too. if hose dont work than i'll guess i'll have to do it the "right" way with the 555 timer. or buy a gay kit

Re: Who's on Xbox Live?
does any once here have a mod chip that plays burned games, being hmt and ill im guessing no one wants to pay 70-80$ a game, if yes i'd like to know if there's a special way to burn them or is it like making a cd/dvd

Re: Who's on Xbox Live?
In W@W? Na. The flat macro (Cycle the input evenly) I programmed is OK for shooting a 30 round M1A1 without being locked is 55ms down+55ms up. 110ms cycle time. 60,000ms / 108ms = 545.45rpm. 9.09/second.
Using afew programming tricks (randomize times between the two inputs, extra time added to afew loops, hard pausing the loop after it has gone afew cycles past what the clip would normally hold so you don't hold the automatic fire too long) my fastest script will run around 670-710rpm without locking out.
