Does anybody have a link to a good Crackdown torrent? I can't find one at all that isn't on blackcats.

No, but i have played tiger woods golf on the Wii. Its pretty challenging, the controller gets kind of wild at some points. I've gone 5 over par quite a few times :-X

I'm not entirely sure what mods will get you a ban, but I'm assuming it's the firmware mod. I've also heard about linux on the 360 but never looked into it, so if you're using some hacks you might want to undo them before going on to xbox live!

Bah, guess I'll have to buy all my games...which means halo 3 and maybe forza.

I'm not too worried. From what I'm told by my guy, the Firmware we use is supposed to show up as the stock drive, so they shouldnt be able to detect the mod. If it happens, oh well, get banned and start over from noobage. Doesnt take long to work back up the ranks.
With that said, I will be hopping on Halo2 shortly if anyone would like to join me.

Eh your system is perma-banned. I'm guessing the unique code every 360 has is blocked from live. Not as easy to come back as the old xbox.

I also read before that the firmware mod wouldn't be detectable, but until I knew for sure; I wouldn't log on. Personally I'd rather not have a $400 system banned from live when that's about the only reason I'd want it. If the firmware hack is the reason, I hope you all backed up your original one.

but a new one from walmart switch the bar code sticker and return it the same day and say it didnt work thats what my buddy did when his ---- got permabanned. ooo and pay with the cash and keep your receipt. :6

do you guys know if I can get on live if I mod my xbox(the mod to get diff games and ----)? I have the original xbox.

Yes its true they are banning modified firmware systems via the xbox console code. You can still use your live account but not on your modded console, sucks. I never really played online anyway so its not much difference to me, just sucks to know if i wanted to i cant.

Bar codes are all the same unless you're talking about the serial one on the system, which again doesn't matter, at least at my store. My store didnt have the serial printed on the receipt, and since they all use the same system i wouldn't be surprised if others are the same. They were trying to find the serial on the receipt to compare to the system but it wasn't there. Either way, i switched the case piece that had the serial from the new xbox to the broken one.
