HOLY ----. i am stoked as hell, cant even sit still. i go to this site japanupdate.com which is the local forum/website and was looking around. my wife calls about this $2,000 skyline. 2dr, black, 5spd. "V-6 motor"

Its got a real nice stereo in it. Kenwood all the way around, really nice. I was so amazed at how clean the interior was. the pass side does have a dent in it, but who the hell cares. the wheels...im not to sure what kind they are, but they are pretty clean also. tires are like brand new, everything about the car is sexy.

mods:
first im gonna put a suspension on her. then brakes, then im gonna either go get a RB20det or just get all of the turbo peices off of the DET. im gonna make this thing the absoulte ----. ooo yeah, i paid $1500. the even wilder part, the guy who owned it now lives about 20 miles from my wifes parents house in Indiana. what a small world...

um that's like the point, I bought a v6 camaro cause it was cheap and a decent platform. It's now ready to be built. Why pay a lot for something you're going to change anyway. why not pay less for something your going to replace/mod everything in anyway.

If I was in Japan and I wasn't getting a turbo car, I'd definately stick to a civic or integra. A RHD honda seems cooler than a non turbo skyline.

why didnt I buy a honda: because every ------ honda i saw was an automatic except those type R's in the other thread. those type R's were a little out of my price range. plus hondas serisouly are few and far between for my price range. EG hondas....very rare. CRX's...ive seen one. :-\ Im hoping I can find parts in the junkyards :-\

why did I get a non-turbo skyline: because the cheapest turbo skyline was $4,000 USD and that was the cheapest I found -that one was a 100% race car. I need something practicle. why should I buy a $4,000 skyline when I can buy this one for $1500 and get a RB20det or a RB26dett for about $1,100? thats my theory to. ;)

How many people in here can say they brought a skyline for $1500?? thats less than my civic. If he turbo's the car he going to have alot of potential and i bet its not going to cost him more than $80,000. :P

it looks good, if you swap it out itll be badass, but with all the turboness flowing over there i prob woulda def geabbed a 180sx or some type of something with a fatty snail...

Skylines are hype. Everyone loves them but have never even driven one exept in gt3/4.. its still a nice car and it does have potential. have fun with it frank
