The only other 4cyl Street Car in the 8's is John Shephards Eagle Talon but thats an AWD car and not @ 150mph either.

Re: Who says you cant make real power with a Log Mani

i dont mean to talk ----, but 4cyl's have certainly gone a lot faster than 150mph. be careful about what you claim to be a street car, as i'm fairly certain john shepard is running more like 7.70-7.80 and a lot closer to 200mph than 150mph. i personally wouldn't consider john shepards car a street car, but if thats the comparison you're triying to make, your're comparing your car to back-halfed methanol burning FWD hotrod cars running in the high 7's. surely not a good comparison to your car.

i appreciate your car for what it is, but know that other people/forums are going to give you a monumental load of ---- about your claims.

have fun, go faster 8)

EDIT: oops, not your car, but THAT car...........i'm drunk, so thats a freebie :6

His car has not been street legal for quite some time now. Tags on the plates are 05, it has a filled block, no alternator, no exhaust. When that car was "legal" he wasn't running 7's. Hubers SVO is titled, registered, insured, full exhaust and can be daily driven :y

Pretty impressive...

BUT...I think some newer import 4-cyls could meet or exceed that ----, if only they were rwd instead of lame-ass fwd.

Cool though

I would hope so, that motor is a single cam, pushrod, 8 valve head, late 70's technology.

Fixed it for you, the head is a single can 8 valve setup, but it's not 70's tech. Is is a aluminum race piece that flows around 300+ @28"h2o

Still a badass car with a super nice owner. The thing is quality through and through.

exactly my point, old ----...time to move on :P

Badass car nonetheless, not trying to downplay it. If this was around back when the engine originally came out, people would ---- their pants and hang the owner for witchcraft and communism.

Re: Who says you cant make real power with a Log Mani

I made 404 whp on a log mani/1.8 liter LS/VTEC combo, given the "big plenum" design in the picture I'm not surprised the car makes good power.

Nothing impressive about that car, IMO. I doubt it has much more than 600 whp in a 2500lb chassis to run a flat 9. The reason you don't see more four cyl Mustangs doing that is because faggot ------- rednecks yank the 2.3's to swap in 302's thinking that they are upgrading something. ::)
