who knows anything about steam power/steam engines?

Re: who knows anything about steam power/steam engines?
Gasoline engines use at or less than 10% water vapor in the combustion process to transfer heat energy. Thus becoming more thermally efficient and as such benefiting from the "steam"
The same concept behind water/meth injection is all.
Im drunk and being particular is all.

Gasoline does not produce water until very late in the reaction chain. Temps go up immediately, but no pressure until the water is formed. Alcohol makes water very early on in it's reaction chain. Pressures go up immediately. What's happening here??
Protip: the expansion of hot "gasses" means nothing, or else you could spin a turbo with a blowtorch.

Cool ----. I helped build an air powered engine in machine shop back in HS. I made a 3 piece crankshaft for it and a connecting rod. Making the connecting rods was sweet. It looked sick. Recessed the bolts, ground everything in, bored it out to spec and everything.
I'm in thermodynamics and we talk about steam powered ---- all day long. It's king for efficiency, though that design isn't the most efficient, it will work of course and make big power.
Kind of random, but I've been wanting to talk about WI. Should I just post my questions/thoughts in the stickied WI thread?

I have a miniature steam engine (one of those little working models) I bought my grandfather one year for christmas. I'll bust it out next time you're around ----'s really simple
