mazda and ford are one and the same. its just a label. the RX7 maybe a unique model to the mazda line-up, but that does not change the fact of corprate ownership now does it?

1. durring the time the 2 gen rx-7 was being designed and manufactured, ford did not own a part of mazda.
2.even if that above statement is false, Ford only owns about 30% of Mazda.
