look at the trends guys.. and be carefull.. every 20 or 30 years there is a market realestate boom.. mostly on the speculation of potential investors clammering to secure their investments driving up the over all price of housing causing an eventual bubble in the market when values settle.. Its not an entirely secure investment and like everything else if you dont do your homework you will get burnt...

The market sucks here in north Texas where I live.Were saturated with new construction and a big factory pulled out of here and left a buch of people behind that now cant afford to live here so they are all sellling their houses.Over saturation of houses for sale=a buyers market.
Equity buildup is allmost non existant. Im happy living here though.I bought my 2950 sq.ft. house for $189,900.I just had it apraised and it apraised for $205k. Its got 5 bedrooms,2 dineing areas,study,3 full baths,2 living areas,2 car garage.Its paid off so its like money in that bank. The good thing is that in 5 years the projected growth for this area is 35%.The national average is 2-5%. |
