The new bodystyle STI is supposed to be as much an improvement in (stock) power output and handling as it is hideously ugly.

No clue where it ranks on the totem pole of absolute performance, but Goforth drove one last week and said it was the first Subaru that he enjoyed driving.

what does $500 get you with the sti? half a new trans when you tried the 7k clutch dump launch?
$500 gets the STI a boost controller, a adjustable FPR, tuning and have change left over.

wow

i can understand the boost controller, and the fpr.

but the tuning? what do you use to tune it? im sure there is a device you need to hook to the ecu. i bet its expensive.

you still have the stock turbo. i doubt it'll touch low 11s with it.

a quick google search turned up...

The XEDE (pronounced "ex-eed") is the only user-programmable engine control system that works with the factory ECU- not instead of, or against it

XEDE System
Includes XEDE computer, Plug-In Harness, XMAP Tuning Software and 6' Serial cable $995
just curious if you actually research anything before you post it.

TXSDTECBCPRO TurboXS DTEC Boost Controller $495.00 In Stock!

TXSDTECEGT TurboXS DTEC EGT Sensor $143.00 In Stock!

TXSDTECSTARTER TurboXS DTEC Starter Kit $219.00 In Stock!
