Re: who has put an ac belt on
I'm assuming that if it has to loop around there then you have to pull those bolts, unless you are a magician. I've never done it either, just my .02

Re: who has put an ac belt on
could be electrical.. or if its the compressor, u'll need to evacuate the r34.. so ya, might as well take it to a real mechanic

Re: who has put an ac belt on
who needs a/c, seriously?
|
Re: who has put an ac belt on
if the clutch isnt engaging you either have too much refrigirant or too little
|
Re: who has put an ac belt on
You more than likely need a recharge, and possibly fix a leak.

Re: who has put an ac belt on
oh damn yall clowned me on that one lol I didnt get it recharged yet,
I just wanted to see if it was engaging so it wont engage if there is no refrigerant int here wonder how it knows that dont bash me too hard i was unaware! |
Re: who has put an ac belt on
On most cars it will engage without refrigerant.

Re: who has put an ac belt on
Just like everyone else has said, when the low pressure switch see's that there isnt enough pressure in the system it will not kick the compressor on. You need to take it somewhere and have it dye tested to find out where your leak is at in the system and then have that fixed and then recharge the system with 134a. Or if you just want some ac for the summer just charge it up and hope its a small enough leak to last until its cooler out. BTW..you dont have to support the engine at all if you pull that lower mount off, the others should support it well enough.
