Whitey bends on 2.2 million dollar car in Modified Mag
Anyone look at the current Modified Mag? On page 24 they have a write up about some shop taking a Porsche Carrera GT (400k) and turning it into a Mirage GT (Costs 1.8mil for conversion) with 1000hp etc.
anyways, there is a picture of the exhaust and all the bends are Whitey bends, I'll try and get a pic. If it's good for that car, should be good for HMT.

Lol people act like I invented pie cuts. 
I think Jeff was the first to call them "whitey bends" and the name just caught on. I've seen them called whitey bends over at H-T but now they're called "JDM bends" now. :1
I got in the habit of doing bends like that becuase back when I started building turbo kits, mandrel bends costs $25.00 for a 90 in mild steel so mandrels were way out of my pricerange. Now that building stuff yourself has become popular mandrels are alot cheaper and can be found everywhere. I actually got the idea from my friend Brian (owner of the turbo SHO) becuase he was the first one to do those bends
