I didn't want to tap mine because I didn't want to chance dropping shavings into the oil passage...

So, I bought a flange from STS turbo (they were local to me at the time) they only charged me $5 :)

If you DO tap it, do it while the turbo is upside down so you don't get shavings in the turbo. And vacuum it or whatever you have to do.

if you do tap it, use grease on the tap and then clean it out with brake clean as well. Then blow it out real good with a air nozzle.

That is pretty nice, I used the same fitting to the back of my block, should of done a writeup, basically what i'm using is 1/4" steel brake line since the fittings are the same ones and go in to each other.

yeah, i tapped mine upside down with grease on the tap and backed it out every few turns and cleaned the tap off and put fresh grease on it. i didn't see any metal shavings in there at all.
