You were aware that before the whole WW1 dealio, and the Influenza killing off more people than WW1 did, the big global religious debacle was the catholic church's training a number of their young priests in some bullshit notion called the Scientific Method? They did this, and set these priests to reviewing the scriptures, with the intent of battling modern scientists (who typically scoffed at religion) and revitalizing flagging church attendence. What they got for their trouble was, without one single solitary exception, a bunch of foaming at the mouth heretics and atheists.

Ok, lets say your theroy is true. There was a creator who created the universe.
So, theres just this creator, and this god creates the universe. You will not accept the fact that the universe could just be here, without a creator to design, shape and form it. Transversely, you will accept the fact that a god could just be floating around before space time and then this god creates a universe. (without this god being created, its just there. with no explanation of its design shape or form).
Your theroy has a huge infinate hole.
Heres a theroy for you. Not that I nessicairly agree with it. Its just for ***** sake.
What if god is the universe, time and all energy. although thats not nessicairly what i beleive.

but believing that all life on earth was formed from bacteria which evolved and some of it went into the sea and some of it grew legs and lived on the land and some of it grew wings and could fly in the air.. millions of undiscovered species.. and how many do we already know to exist.. and somehow some of the apes evolved into humans yet all the millions of other species remained inferior.. all those were evolved from one kind of bacteria

Re: Where do you see yourself....when you're 30?
30 Is a hell of a long way away. Right now im 19 working as a Mail Carrier making about $1200 every two weeks. I dont have any bills so i tend to blow my money on random things. My parents pay for my college and i will be graduating in two years with no debt. I just cant see myself sitting behind a desk for the rest of my life. I love engineering but the day to day ---- seems like it would be pretty boring. I have an intership at Mercury Marine coming up which will be a good time to decide if this is where i want to take my life. The internship pays a total of $24k over 8 months. My goal is to save as much as a can and then use it later as a downpayment on a house. But realistically im going to blow it all on my car and worthless stuff and graduate with a degree im not happy with and hate my job like everybody else. Thinking about the future too much can make anybody stress. I just try to not worry too much and take things as they come. ---- bitches.

I believe in "whoa, that was some crazy ----", but I don't believe in miracles. If it was such a miracle, why'd he need a loaf of bread and 2 fish anyway? If it was such a miracle wouldn't he have pulled it out of his ***? These are the questions I ponder.
And evolution ain't ---- either. ---- it, it's 2006 beeaaaaatch.

Re: Where do you see yourself....when you're 30?
Im in mechanical engineering. The part that i dont like is that while every project is different i can spend months designing a single part. I would like it if i was working to design a whole engine or something significant. But when i work for Mercury Marine i will be designing one part for the entire 8 months im there...most likely an CAC which is a Charged Air Cooler(air to water). I guess ill just have to wait and see if i like it.
