Where can I find these parts?

I need 2 steel injector bungs. Maybe one of you flange making bastards could help me out ;) I also need an electris 12V 30psi oil pump. It has to be really small and compact. Or do you think I could use a fuel pump?? Its only to feed a turbo.

fuel pump isn't ac, you said you need 12v ac, right?

is the northen tool pump too big for you? or you don't want it because it says not to use with flammables?

Re:Where can I find these parts?

contact renr, he might know what to do for the two injectors, he rigged up a 5th injector before, so he knows something about it.

Automotive enthusiast's are discovering the benefits of using our scavenge pump.
They are powerful enough to pull the oil 30" and more in height from low mounted turbochargers. This is ideal as the oil can then be returned to the engine at a selected point. You can also incorporate an in line cooler to lower temperatures before the oil is returned to the engine, this improves engine and turbo life.
These pumps are the same units that were included with our ZX11 turbo kit.
We have supplied major R&D facilities with our pumps throughout 2004.

To name a few:

Ricardo Engineering
Ford of Europe
Buell Motorcycles
Roush Engineering

$189.95 + s&h

I have a pump like that but I'm looking for one that is no bigger than a Walboro. It doesn't matter if its an internal or external pump

i just did a google search and found it. it can also be part msd2115
summit sells an 8 pack: http://store.summitracing.com/defaul...ch&Ntt=msd2115
i believe the aluminum ones are 8-10 bucks each.
aluminum:
epoxy in type: PN 2120
thread in type: PN 2125

Re:Where can I find these parts?

Thanks, yeah I've seen them but $120 is ------- rediculous and way way out of my budget. you think for 2 little pieces of metal is can't be that expensive :-\

Re:Where can I find these parts?

just hack up an old fuel rail or manifold and jb weld it.
if you dont have one someone would be willing to donate one for a tech write up.

Reddy 12-07-2004 12:17 PM

Re:Where can I find these parts?

The only shitty thing is that all manifolds are usually Aluminum and I'm building a steel manifold. So it would be hard for someone to donate.

Re:Where can I find these parts?

Just make the steel injector bugs yourself. They are really easy to make.

Don't know what injectors you are going to use but Bosch injectors need a 13.5 mm hole for both sides. Grab a sold round bar and drill a 13.5 mm hole in it, easy as that.

My minute made manifold, yes it's ugly, but it works and made it in like 2 hours (including fuel rail)

hey man just build your own find an oil pump that has a shaft and attach a motor such as a wiper motor to it i made one gave me 50 psi no problem

Re:Where can I find these parts?

if you are looking for the bungs just make your own. All you need is a hacksaw and a drill press.

bambooseven 12-07-2004 06:42 PM

Re:Where can I find these parts?

pug, those injector bungs are WAY out of control, I think that might have a major problem w/ atomization.

yeah, whitey, just make some, measure the ID of one (for the injectors you are using) and get some SS tubing that relates (say it is 3/4" or something ID, you'd buy 1" .120" wall SS tube for like $2.50 a foot cut it and weld it and you're done) just make sure and obiously chamfer the edges so you don't ---- up the grommets on the way in, and make sure you know what you're doing w/ injector angle (plays a major role in how an EFI system works)

as for the pump, you should be able to find what you are looking for in a hydraulics supply store for not too much money. pumps like that are used for various things.

Does that manifold leak? And when you drilled them out did you just use a regular drill bit? Also can you take pics of your fuel rail. I think I might try and make my own.

Kyle you little ------- crybaby. I'm asking where I can find a specific oil pump and injector bungs. Where to find parts has absolutely no tech relevance at all. You wouldn't even know the pump was supposed to be for a turbo if I didn't mention it. So Kyle go ---- yourself, your the biggest ------- crybaby on this site. You remind me of a 4 year old throwing a temper tantrum in a toystore.

Don't you think a wiper motor would burn out under the strain of trying to push oil?

DutchPug 12-08-2004 03:07 AM

Re:Where can I find these parts?

@ Bamboo
The bungs I made being out of control?? Can't see how you can tell that from that picture; they are angled to point at the back of the valves and the spray pattern isn't hitting the bungs. Can't see what is wrong with them.

@Whitey
Yeps just used a normal drill and file the bung entry point of the injector out a bit to give a nice taper for easy fitting.

http://www.student.kun.nl/p.oonincx/205xs/IM003695k.jpg
Here the completed manifold. As for the fuel rail, just take a square piece of tube (there is probably a better name for that but I don't know it), and weld the bungs to it. Make sure the id of the tube is big enough (take at least 0.75 inch, so the pulsating of the injectors will be no problem).

And yeps even though I made the manifold in a hurry with a stick welder, it shows no signs of leaking.
