Physically impossible with current technology. Current hard drives max out at 100mb/sec (generously).

1.9 terabITS = 237.5 gigaBYTES /sec. i dont think any hard drive in the world could keep up with that ;) let alone system memory! (max's out around 6gB/sec or so)

Now, the 1.9tb/sec COULD be used if LOTS of computers were accessing it's bandwidth simultaneously, but we're not comparing that are we :P

1250kB/sec is the max throughput of 100mbit ethernet protocol. Chances are if you get a gigabit connection it'll go up!

Of course this is by using DWDM, each carrier at 10 gigabits/sec. 4 fiber pairs and a possibility to do 48 carriers on each pair.
I pump 50 megabytes per second out of my file server, not a problem. More could be done by using a faster storage.
The max throughput of a 100mbit ethernet connection is around 12000kB/sec, 12207kB/sec to be exact.

what if you had 3 10k rpm HD's in a RAID array?

not even close to making a dent in 1.9 terabites per second
