Processor: Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.4GHz (2 CPUs)
Memory: 1022MB RAM

It's not 2 cpu's. It's called hyperthreading. :)

Ever Heard of Dual Core? :6

not on a laptop. nope. His CPU isn't even a mobile version. it must last about 30 min on the battery. Imagine how long a dual core CPU would last!

mine lasts over 6 hours depending on what I'm doing. If I'm playing a 3d game on wireless net it lasts about 2.5-3 hours

my laptop runs at least 1.5 hours on the battery, depends on what I do though.

btw, I am Johnny's girlfriend, not a HIM :P

Actually nowadays anyone who doesn't know much about puters is a nerd.

Anyway most of us here are into specifications, parts, and tuning stuff...after all, this is a homemadeturbo forum. We like to know how ---- works.

Some system specs:
This stuff is a few years old. i finally stopped upgrading my computer every other month.
P4 2.8 (might have been 2.4)
Currently "only" a 512 stick of ram. I forget what was popular then. Might be DDR2100 or something like that. Might get a 1 gig or two stick of new ram.
Probably going to get a larger power supply depending on what video card I end up with.
Planning to get a DVD burner. I usually use Plextor or another brand that is actually made by Plextor.
Seagate hardrive(s)
The MB is an Albatron that had just hit the market back then. Nice board with descent onboard sound, network card, etc...
Probably will get a descent sound card and speakers.
Currently using an "old" Radeon 7200. I don't game so this one has been fine until I got my new monitor last week.
24" widescreen LCD! (35% off coupon) This thing is HUGE! I need to get a better video card but I might just get a high end non gaoming card. They go cheap on ebay because most people don't want them. :)

Windows 2000.

Previous set up was a dual board with 2 PIII 1000's that I overclocked. Probalby will wait a while and build a complete new set up unless I buy a nice laptop.

Also have a old Dell 133 lappy for tuning though it has been having problems with locking up lately.

Re: whats your pooter setup?

I use a Dell TV. I think they are the best because you can have picture in picture.

I use it as a monitor and a TV...browsin HMT while having up to 1/4 of the screen watching TV.

Here's a pic of it in action....the TV screen is the smallest up there on the right...it goes much larger and you can move it around the screen.
