meh, didnt cure my boredom but here is what I got anyways (my laptop is only a couple months old..):

Operating System: Windows XP Professional (5.1, build 2600)
System Man.: HP
System Model: Pavilion zd8000
Processor: Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.4GHz (2 CPUs)
Memory: 1022MB RAM
Page File: 488MB used, 2000MB available

It's not 2 cpu's. It's called hyperthreading.
