What's a good PC FPS
I've been playing battlefront 2 for a while now, getting a little old.
What are some other good ones? Bonus points for someone that informs me of one that I can play online with a pirated serial. Yarrrr bitch. edit: In the meantime, download this ----. Nice soundtrack too and the whole game is less than 10 megs. And it rocks if you have a nice video card. www.plasmapong.com |
Re: What's a good PC FPS

Re: What's a good PC FPS
Painkiller is fun, try the demo.
Call of Duty 2 looked good. Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory (It's free to DL, free online!) |
Re: What's a good PC FPS
UNREALTOURNAMENT 2004 ;)
|
Re: What's a good PC FPS
battlefield 2!!!!
|
Re: What's a good PC FPS
I enjoy the Medal of Honor series more than the Battlefield. I really don't play too many FPS online games anymore.

Re: What's a good PC FPS
moh is full of hacks. enemy territory is becoming full of hacks, play the mod for ET called true combat (think bf2 on q3 engine with hl2 graphic appeal, easy on older systems, killer on newer: www.truecombat.com )
bf2, call of duty/united offensive/two is possibly the best, or bf1942. cod:uo is hands down the funnest, cod refinement with full vehicle options like bf2, and base assault (3 bunkers per side, 2 sides,) whoever destroys alll 3 bunkers wins, basically. i love uo, but i can't play it for some hardware issue that recently came with the new patch (1.5) for it, so suxor. ive been whoring up bf2, not many good quality fps's left out on the market thanks to hacks |
Re: What's a good PC FPS
So which one can I play online for nill?
|
Re: What's a good PC FPS
ut2004 demo :)
|
Re: What's a good PC FPS
demo....
|
Re: What's a good PC FPS
its just restricted maps. there's like 2 or 3 maps on each game type. It's still fun and demo servers are more active. Also you can play with a YARRRR serial online if you find a download for the full version:8

Got a new link in the OP if you're bored waiting for a game to download like me.
Actually, I play it for fun more than that. |
Re: What's a good PC FPS
Americas Army is 100% free.

I play this game almost on a daily basis... only problems are: 1) You have to take "classes" on the game to be able to become a medic in the game (which sucks anyways, you get shot trying to heal people) 2) You have to do missions to become sniper (for instance, one is target practice... gotta get 36 out of 40 targets... and you only have 40 bullets) And every now and then i get a "communications error"... click okay, press escape and you're back in the game. |
Re: What's a good PC FPS
PM me and I'll give you a steam log-in that will let you play source and all the HL mods. Only problem is that we can't play in the same server, but at least you could play.

Re: What's a good PC FPS
for single player missions
F.E.A.R. is good, but needs a decent video card. HL2:ep1 is just a continuation of the HL2 game. SiN:Episode 1 is a decent single player one too. (based on the HL2 engine, Source) |
Re: What's a good PC FPS
DoD and CS
