man they pull me over for that ---- but i never got a ticket for it. I just made some bullshit up saying i lost the frame that held my liscense plate up and i have to put it in my windshield dash. It might also help cuz my dads a cop and they all know him. :P

we used to have a cool police guy at the store friday and saturday nights, and i'd ask him about misc laws, like; muffler noise, music loudness, lowering.. etc
anyway, I asked him about the license plate, and he basically said it's one of those laws, where if the cop is feeling like a dick he can give you a warning or even a ticket. pretty gay..
oh, im in Seattle, so i guess that's the law in WA for ya. cop must've been a dick

it was a ------ everett cop....so he had nothing better to do....like arrest tweekers, cetching DUI's, stop kids from stealing Honda's.....OH WAIT THATS WHAT HE SHOULD HAVE BEEN DOING

in no way does me not having a plate on the front of my car harm another human..or the envoroment... just pisses me off that someone would get harassed for something stupid like this while there are real things these ------ cops should be attending too...

the "plate" issue is just a reason the cops use to pull you over, then see if you've been drinking.
I'm in OHIO and don't have to run a front plate until new steel ones are required. Seems hitting a dog at 70 mph is a good excuse as to why I don't have a front plate, although it wasn't on the car ANYWAYS.......becasue from last wreck the repair shop failed to install the little metal inserts for the plate to bolt to.........that was 5-6 years ago!

We have a state trooper that stops into the shop occassionally and he has a hard-on for people with no front plates. He always makes us aware that he know's none of us have a front plate on our cars, but he has yet to pull one of us over for that. I guess he is kinda cool with us, but knowing that he patrols the area and looks for that in particular is pretty disturbing. I guess it is just a matter of personal opinion. I don't see the need for the front plate..if somebody is running from a cop, then they cannot see the front plate. Just doesn't make sense.

Put it behind the winshield. They let you get away with that here in CT. I didn't want to put mine on, but after i got a ticket for not having one, I manned up and drilled into my front bumper
