What is your wost speeding ticket?
 

So last night I drive to town to grab some groceries, the air was cool and my integra was feeling good so at a stop sign I nailed it, I hit 79 and there just happened to be a cop sitting on some side road with his lights off. Lets just say he wasnt to happy, especially because its in a 25 mph zone. The nice guy he is though reduced it to 60 (34 over) and I got a ticket for $266 and 6 points + I get my liscense suspended for 15 days. Anyway just wondering if any of you had anything rediculous.

Luckily I haven't had any yet.

I know a lot of people who have though, my cousin got nailed for 100 in a 55, lost his license for 6 months.

expired tabs, no license, no insurance.

was almost $1000

i had no insurace/tabs because i had just bought the car the day before. I was driving because of an emergency.

90 in a 55 drag racing my friend while we were going to the track...did radar us just wrote it and said fight it you get drag racing 196$ and 5 pnts

Mine was quite bad. I got caught doing 170 km/h in an 80 km/h zone in my mom's 3.2 TL about 6 years ago - $594 racing ticket. I was on the borderline to ride in the paddy wagon. Only reason I wasn't because the guy I was racing was going a lot faster - some older hot rod type car.

I was only 15 (no liscense), doing 98 in a 25, and my DAD pulled me over :1 yea i got my ass beat and my keys taken away

Reckless Driving - $530 fine, 30 day suspended, 3 years SR22 filing
followed by about 10 more speeding
90 day suspension for "Habitual Offender"
and finally a "Minor under the influence operating a motor vehicle" - 90 day suspension, $1500 lawyer, $900 fine, $1200 for a year of alcohol classes, BACK on SR22 filing for another 3 years

going on 3 years with no tickets though ;D

I've paid the State of Florida about $5000 - $8000 dollars in tickets and court fees between the ages of 16-24 and have the three page rap sheet to prove it. I still don't know how they let me in the Navy. I navigate U.S. Submarines now. Ain't life interesting?

90 in a 20 the officer said he could of charged me with 2000-3000$ in reckless driving and negligent driving i think to scare me. but he use to work with my dad so i just had to wake my dad up at 1:00 in the morning. let me tell you those cop cars are a lot faster with the chip in, but i out drove that cop like nothing. i screched my tires around a corner and he said that i should of lost it and imagine if someone walked out. it was 1:00 in the morning.the reason i stoped was he didnt have his lights on at first and i was waiting for a car to pass by at a stop light so i just pulled over acting like nothing was up and at first he was just going to drive by because i was in a 96 crown vic a old cop car. then he just starred at me. it was pretty funny. another possible ticket was going 130 on the freeway. i was passing cars going about 110 as im passing a old guy he just sorta looks at me. well he starts catching up. so i just start speeding up next thing i know he has his lights going off it was a under cover cop i never seen before. im guessing a stater sence it was on the freeway. well i was actually practicing using the sholders earlier that week. so i went on the shoulder and passed a few cars a few weav ins and outs. and the cop was no where to be found. i live in a small town so i just took a exit thats about 5 miles out in the country. i thought for sure the cop had my license plate. but never got anything in the mail. for a actual ticket i have recived reckless driving droped that to reckless endangerment so it wouldnt be on my record 538 or something i have to pay still.they gave me a year to pay it off.

57 in a 35, the day i bought my new hatch, and ir wasnt even registered, insured, or anything. 6 pts and a monster ticket.

Biggest ticket woulda been when i bought my truck, was out ------- my girl, just bought the car, wasnt in my name, registerred, insured or anything. Driving home (speeding) and I passed a cop, he pulled out and I gave her, ran for about 1 mile and got some distance on him (he didnt have his lights on yet) so I wasnt running I guess) when another cop comes ------- flying outta knowwhere, I knew I was getting knowwhere, pulled over, ready to be raped

Luckily, it was the night of my 19th birthday, both cops were amazing, checked out my truck, mnade fun of me a bit, AND LET ME GO HOME!!!

My biggest ticket I got nailed for is 120 in an 80 and it was reduced, dunno how much, fighting that one, may 23rd, wish me luck

Anything over 25mph here you go to jail. I just spent the weekend in jail so I dont have to pay the ticket. :y They consider it cimial mischif and it doesnt go on your record. I love this state sometimes.

where do you live? wtf is that ----? i went to jail for reckless driving went to court, went to court again, got it reduced to reckless endagerment and they will drop it in a year if i do not commit a simulair offense. i wish i could just have went to jail for a week and called it even. i just dont understand how that works? so you could get 100 tickets for going over 25 go to jail 100 times but not once would it be on your record. but if you were going 15 you get a ticket and its on your record but you get to drive home that night. wtf is wrong with this?

What did it cost me, 2 nights in jail, my bike got impounded paid my lawyer $1500, and got 2 points and a $538 ticket.

128 in a 65 on I-75 in Cincy on the back wheel. The cop had no sense of humor. They hooked my TL1000 on a swing boom and made me walk to the next exit to call for a ride. Cost me damn near $1000 and almost got tossed in the pokie. Well, maybe he did have a sense of humor, I didn't go to jail.

SR22 is some special insurance you have to have when you get pulled over and or get into an accident and it's found out that you don't have insurance. You have to maintain this dumb ass insurance for whatever amount of time the state tells you. It's all a conspiracy between the state and insurance companies.

I got escorted home by the police for a 55 in a 15 (really not THAT sharp of a corner) I got pulled over a few more times for little things, my freind jumped a curb, I sweved for a big puddle, i hit a rabbit and swerved a little (cops took our tobacco) finally my luck ran out, I got caught half ways through a HUGE powerslide in my old Cougar. I got community service for that one. BTW all but one of these was the same officer.

one that pisses me off 38 in a 35, cost me $40 and no points, in northglen colorado they only need you to be going 3 above the speed limit to give u a ticket

Was being an idiot on the Midbay bridge in destin doing 165mph in the emergency lane passing cars on the bike, went past a cop and he kicked on his lights and I remember seeing cop cars all over Hwy 98 trying to find me(hid the bike behind some cars at a hotel parking lot.

As for getting caught, 130mph in a 70 on I-10; cop was nice and dropped it down to 97 in a 70 @ $176 since I was late picking up a friend flying in from Iraq.
