Yea, not sure when people will ever learn that the gain is not a volume control, but it is used to match input/output levels between components. I have been installing for a living for 12+ years now and I have been a store owner for almost 3. We are also going through some equipment changes, so I have some Orion gear that I will be closing out it anybody is interested, although shipping on some of these subs might own :-\

agreed. and back in the day, i had a couple shitty 12" pioneer's with a memphis amp, gain all the way up, ran parallel and bridged, and they never blew.
