Honestly, this way is better, but the gf doesn't make enough to cover her bills so it cuts into my money, but it doesn't really work like that anyways. If we had seperate accounts and she didn't have enough to cover her half of the bills, who ends up paying that? If we had seperate accounts and she was broke and we wanted to go out to eat, who pays for that? I will end up paying for it one way or another so it doesn't really matter. Plus, this way I can "float" quite a bit of money a month to do certain things. Basically, my income went up, but my bills went up with it.
