in your case, yea ebay was 100% safe. you showed up at his place with money in hand and left with what you bought.
but say you pay through paypal and have to wait for it....my main thing is how do i trust someone with my credit information(paypal employee) who was flipping hamburgers 2 months ago and has had maybe 2 days training, paypal CSR's have a larger turn-over ratio than cell phone companies. for what reason im not sure, but they go through reps like crazy.....and fat chance getting much done through there "contact us" email option...seeing as how they "maximized" their profits by outsourcing that department to asia.
but one thing im not afraid to correct you on....no, im not a "law" grad. but i am pre-law, 2 more years until i finish my 4 yr degree then LSAT test decides if i go to law school
