what does the average HMT'er listen to
 

So what kind of music do you all listen to when you work on your cars? ---- always goes better if i listen to something. Mostly rock, but i can listen to rap without bitching about it. the only thing i really don't like listening to is country.

i like classic rock, like queen and a very little bit of meat loaf. when im pissed off i like to drive really fast (haha as fast as my slow ass car can go) and listen to some really heavy ---- like as i lay dying or trivium.
i really don't like nirvana.

im really big into metal. me and my brother are trying to record some but i had to sell my guitar. *bills own me :(*

anyway i abolutely love metal, im also into folk music like irish jigs, reels, etc. and any scandinavian folk is cool too.

i listen to about everything, even country. more into rock, classic rock and ----, RATM is good ---- to listen to when your working tho.

and for driving fast i like pantera, techno, and some slipknot

depends on what kinda mmod im in, alice in chains always does the trick if i wanna hear some good tunes

haha i like to listen to metal when working on my car, mainly slayer , deicide, cannibal corpse, hatebreed, hed pe, pantera, basic ass kick pissed off music. unless i'm doing wiring, for some reason rap flows better with me then...

i listen to classic rock at work(not by choice) but i don't mind it. i actually find myself liking it and listening to it on the way to work. other than that i listen to anything, just not country(the reason for suicide).

Atmosphere, brother ali, aesop rock, eyedea & abilities, deltron, RJD2, sage francis, MF Doom. I also like some mainstream stuff like jayz and the roots.

word i got clasic rock at work. not so bad i know every song so i whistle while i work. when racing anything that had a moving hard beat but driving to the race i like sublime hendrix anything to chill to.

and now that 92.3 krock sucks big ones cuz of talk radio there isnt ---- on the radio any more. (also in ct)

I used to listen to a Classic Rock radio station because they have policies about (not) overplaying songs. There's a local Indy station that's not too bad, but hearing the same song every hour sucks.

So I bought a 3 CD player used for 20 bucks. I've had the Cult (Sonic Temple) and the Pixies (Bossanova & Tromp Le Monde) stuck in there for a few months (I can't open it ;D ), but it honestly hasn't been a bad rotation. If I want to change CDs, it takes 2 screwdrivers to open and take about 30 minutes to figure out how to get it to play again...
