Because they're slanted in the bike frame. Install it upright and you're looking at a new sump and new carbs (as bike carbs are designed to be ru at an angle). Problem with injection though.

screw that ----..i remember a while back someone posted a vid of someone who put a 1100 engine in the back of a smart car...that thing hauld ass..that geo seems slugish...i see race cars during SCCA events that are fast with kawasaki bike engines in them...DSR class of SCCA their neat to watch
